Bag Clock is an ongoing project involving different methods of measuring time. This clock was started on December 13th, 2003. Regular updates will continue to measure the bags' entropy.
The first bag fell off 02JAN04 due to a loose knot.
01FEB04 - Heavy rain has caused the ash to bleed sap through the bags.
14FEB04 - A rare snow day in Dallas.
27SEP04 - The second bag fell down. It fell over 5' to the west of the clock on the other side of the tree. The lower 3rd of the clock has dropped about an inch as well. I suspect cats have been playing with it.
10OCT04 - Two more bags fell overnight after a heavy rain. I checked the string that held the bags, and they had been broken. I haven't seen any cats around lately, so maybe it was done by squirrels.
28NOV04 - 8 bags fell after flooding rains and high winds passed through.
28FEB05 - The main cord let go and the bags fell. Several of the bags broke free. It looks like rot broke the clock. I took the remaining attached bags and hung them back up.

05MAR05 - The bags fell down again last night for the last time. The main cord parted again, and, two bags fell 8' away on the other side of the tree. Once again, animals were a major cause of the clock's entropy.
